    Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has an IT Technician career opportunity in the Augusta, GA area. United States Citizenship is required for this position.



    The IT Technician will provide Tier 1 and some Tier 2 support to the regional training center in Georgia.  This position will provide systems support to the staff and students, as well as technical support for the facility. The IT Technician will support the logistical needs of classes held at the facility.  


    This position will also serve as the point-of-contact for the facility for vendors, maintenance providers, etc. and be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the breakroom and other common areas of the facility. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining and procuring supply inventories. 



    Education High school diploma or equivalent.

    Configures, services and maintains all of Information Technology systems, equipment and wiring in the training facility.

    Knowledge of desktop support functions generally acquired through one (1) year of experience in an IT support role.

    Experience with virtualization (VMWare Workstation, VLANS) is required.

    Networking skills are required.

    Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

    Ability to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external customers.

    Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to be self-starting and to work independently after given directions.

    Ability to exercise judgment to shift priorities, organize multiple tasks simultaneously, and work with minimal supervision.

    A+ and/or Network+ certifications preferred.



    Experience ghosting/cloning PCs is highly desirable.
