Capabilities:

• Critically review and edit intelligence reports, assessments, and other analytical products to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to formatting standards
• Implement quality control measures to verify the reliability and validity of information presented in analytical documents
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts to understand the context of their findings and provide guidance on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of their reports
• Oversee and manage the editorial process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytical products
• Apply and enforce formatting and style guidelines to ensure consistency and professionalism in all analytical documents
• Provide constructive feedback to analysts on their writing and editing practices to promote continuous improvement
• Verify that all edited documents comply with relevant policies, procedures, and security requirements

Qualifications:

• Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.
• Relevant experience must be in writing, editing, or producing technical/analytic reports or products (e.g., working aids, briefings), and must be related to signals intelligence or information assurance; and may also include performing intelligence or language analysis.
