Capabilities:
- Work both individually and as part of a team to design and implement software solutions
- Collaborate with other engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project success and meet development goals
- Utilize programming skills in Python and Java to design, implement, and optimize software components
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software based on documented requirements
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure reliability and performance
- Review and test software for adherence to requirements and document results
- Provide design input to include hardware/software trades, software reuse, use of COTS/ GOTS, and requirements analysis/synthesis from system level to individual software components
Qualifications:
- Eighteen (18) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or fourteen (14) years and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
